Building your new conservatory

During our initial visit to your property we will discuss your requirements before proposing a design of conservatory or orangery that will fit your needs. We will then send you drawings, a detailed specification and our quotation. This will be entirely without obligation on your part.

If you accept our quotation, we will visit you again, at a mutually convenient time, in order to conduct a full site survey. This will give us the precise measurements that we will use in order to source the correct components and to instruct our builders and fitters concerning any site-specific requirements.

We will agree with you a timescale for the various works, and organise any base-work that may be required, including the construction of new-build masonry walls.

Your frames and glazing will be delivered to and checked by us. Together, we will finalise the date for the start of frame-construction, which often takes just a day or two. Once the structure has been erected and sealed, we will organise any electrical work that may be required. Our electrician will usually make two visits: before and after internal plastering has been completed. Following completion of electrical work we will arrange any flooring and final finishing work that you require, such as skirting boards or decoration.

Depending on the size and complexity of the job, our build process is likely to take between six and ten weeks from ordering through to construction. In the rare event that planning permission should be required, we will commence work only once permission has been granted.
